I am hoping to participate in a few markets over the summer, potentially starting with selling coffee for my dad's business. I have a slot at Crocker Park reserved in June! I am hoping to have products ready by then, but if not my dad said I could sell his coffee to get a feel for what selling at a market is like.
I participated in the 2025 Stock Market Challenge and had a great time! My team, the Cash Crusaders stayed in around 3rd and 4th for the majority of the first half, then dropped and ended in around 12th during the second half, but we didn't get to hear our final place since we weren't in the top 10. It was a great and fun experience that showed how fast the market can change.
This is my submission for the 2025 YEI Pitch Challenge in the category Sustainability & Environment. I used the brainstorming packet from YEI for preparation and the Apple editing app "Final Cut Pro" to put my video together. Sustainability is something I care a lot about and advocate for whenever I can. Having an eco-friendly yard is high on my priority list for when I own land, and I know a lot about it, so I thought it would be a great fit for a pitch!
I will be participating in next year's competition as well.
