Choir
Choir
I have taken choir every yearof middle school and high school. In my 9th grade and 11th grade years, I have been in the treble choir. I was in the mixed choir my sophomore and senior years. I was unable to be in the mixed choir my junior year because of scheduling with the career center. I have done Solo and Ensemble since my freshmen year. Freshmen year I asked to be comments only because of anxiety. Last year I got a 1. This year I was planning on participating, but ended up getting sick. The Bel Canto (treble) and Chorale (mixed) choirs go to local contents every year. My freshman year Bel Canto got a 1 at the local contest and continued on to get a 1 at the state contest. My sophomore year Chorale got a 2.

During my sophomore year I took a semester psychology class and loved it! I was hoping to take AP Physchology during my senior year, but couldn't due to my schedule. I am looking forward to getting to take psych classes again in college!
Current Issues
Current Issues
Current Issues is a social studies class I am taking for the 2nd semester of the 2024-2025 school year. I am very passionate about the current issues of the world. This class has been very fun to me and has been making me think about the world around me. It's empowering me to want to make change in my community. Currently, we are doing a "do now" project to better our school relating to sustainability and the environment. We are trying to pick what plan we want to choose.
Personal Finance
Personal Finance
Personal Finance was the class that made me realize business is my passion. I bewildered myself with how much I cared about and enjoyed the topics. My teacher, Mrs. Kotz, was very kind and encouraging when I was in a time of my life where I was struggling everyday with my physical and mental health. If she wasn't my teacher, I don't think I would have realized that I love something I never thought I would.
